eRead project presented to Tunisian educators

On September 26, 2025, Oleksandra Golovko (Estonia) delivered an online presentation of the eRead project to the Tunisian educators during the EduGame capacity-building project in Tunisia, where educators spent a week exploring innovations in education.

During this session, Oleksandra presented the origins, partnership, and ambitions of the eRead project, focusing on how digital technologies can strengthen and change reading strategies. She also shared insights from the project outcomes, affecting traditional and digital reading practices, which have guided the development of the eRead project outputs.

A central part of this work is a set of online courses designed to enhance reading skills for learners of Estonian, Latvian, Slovene, and Ukrainian. These courses are currently in the piloting phase and aim to create an engaging, interactive learning environment that supports the development of strong reading competencies.

Importantly, eRead marks a milestone as the first Erasmus project dedicated to teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language — a step that will hopefully inspire further initiatives in this area.
