The Erasmus+ eRead project teams met online to discuss the project implementation details.

The meeting of Erasmus+ KA2 eRead project international partnership on May 31, 2023 was devoted to the elaboration of BA module “Teaching Reading Digitally” which is one of the project's targets.

The partners outlined the module prerequisites and objectives, the scope of work and the timeline to stick to. They decided to read the articles on the latest developments in the field of digital reading and review the applications and digital tools that improve reading skills. They agreed to create a common bank of materials for the module, make up a glossary of key terms, to develop common meaning and to share their knowledge as well as their own experiences of teaching reading in national languages.

The discussions also touched upon the BA module design and its potential formats. It was decided that the co-developed module will be a framework, and every team will be free to navigate and apply it using materials and languages of their country. The module will be specified in autumn during the study visit to Slovenia and piloted by universities in 2024.

The meeting also focused on the organization of the first LTT visit to Slovenia during which the exchange of expertise between the partners will continue.
