In the spring of 2025, the Slovenian team began piloting an online Slovenian course at level B1, called "Jaz pa pojdem … po slovensko". The course is intended for independent learning through reading, as a support for classical learning or a tool for improving already acquired knowledge. When preparing the course, we paid extreme attention to the target user – both in the selection of texts and in the creation of various interactive exercises.

The course is based on exploring Slovenian language, culture and society as the learner travels throughout the Slovenian landscape. Along the way the pupil will pick up some interesting highlights, particularities and facts about everyday life in Slovenia. The course contains 10 main topics that are the key to inclusion in the Slovenian community.

The vast vocabulary is supported with the B1 level grammar as referred in CEFR. Every topic is presented through 4 narratives that present the subject in detail. There are tasks to strengthen the knowledge as well as to upgrade it.

The course is based on the Moodle platform with activities that reinforce the learners’ knowledge in addition to broadening their horizon of the Slovenian language.
